Tecmo Bowl is a pretty cool football game, and it's better than any others for the NES -- except it's younger brother, Tecmo Super Bowl. You get four plays to choose from, a slew of teams to beat, and one ultimate goal : win the Tecmo Bowl.

Challenge: C-. When you get right down to it, this is probably the weakest part of the game. The fact that any pass to a covered receiver is an interception makes it easy to get the ball back.

Graphics: C. The players look like pudgy little dough boys, but the cartoonish nature and large size of the players is cool.

Sound: C+. The music here is cartoony, and catchy -- but by no means unbearable. Just a little annoying sometimes.

Fun: B+. It's like Pong or Breakout -- the simplicity of it makes it really fun.

Overall: B-. Not as good as it's younger brother, but the difference between the two make them both fun.
